Description

A reserve located in Burbang Crescent at Rydalmere. It occupies Lot 2 of DP 28718.

Hannibal Hawkins Macarthur (.......... - ......1861) a nephew of John Macarthur bought his land in 1813 and built a beautiful home Subiaco on the site. He was the Chairman of the Directors Bank of Australia but became bankrupt in the depression in 1848. He was later Police Magistrate at Ipswitch. (Kass T Parramatta - A Past Revealed)
