Name was suggested by Francis McKirdys son Graham McKirdy and accepted by the Council in 1995.
Description
A reserve located on Wakaden Street Griffith. It occupies lots 8-9 Sec 168 of DP 751709.
Origin
Francis `Frank` James McKirdy (19.04.1902 - ......19..) was one of the pioneers in the Griffith area. His main contributions to the community were his managing the horticultural nursery for seedlings required by returned soldiers and his 32 years of work as the Rural Banks district valuer.
