History
Originally referred to by Council as Reserve No.1 on 27 May 1996 the Council resolved to adopt the name `Merricks Fire Brigade Park. The park is signposted `The Merricks Fire Brigade Park`.
Description
A reserve on Darlington Road Dunolly. It is bounded by the Hunter River on the south. It occupies DP 752455 or Por 217 and Lot 6 of DP 255886.
Origin
The park is used for fire brigade training - it has had a long term association with the fire brigade. Robert Daryl Merrick (14.03.1943 - ALIVE AT THIS TIME) was the captain of the local brigade for many years.
