Description
Rising about 1.6 km northeast of Hobden Trigonometrical Station this partly non-perennial watercourse flows generally southeast then northeast for about 11 km to join Oaky Creek about 7 km above its junction with the Namoi River.

so named by a carrier who lost his tarpaulin when crossing a creek (Information from The Transformation of Manellae - A.R. Macleod p. 32)
