remove all of an element in a string <h1>
good if you want to remove all of the instances of an element in a string like if you have a <h1> tag in your string and want to remove it you can use the following code.
$additional = "some text and a <h1>title tag</h1>";
$additional = preg_replace('/<h1[^>]*>([\s\S]*?)<\/h1[^>]*>/', '', $additional);
This will remove the following from the $additional variable.
<h1>title tag</h1>
