History
Name was resolved on 22 June 1959. (Parramatta Council letter dated 19 September 1997)
Description
A reserve in two parts located at the corner of Dudley Street and Calder Road at Rydalmere. It occupies lots 19 and 21 of DP 203008.
Origin
Named in recognition of the dedicated voluntary maintenance of the reserve by two of the local residents. All records available appear to indicate that the two women referred to were Mrs Winifred Moremon and Mrs Joyce Rowe. (Parramatta Councils Valuation List 1947 and park files)
