Description
A reserve between Supply and Buyuma streets at Carlingford. It occupies Lot 1768 of DP 244158 Lot 53 of DP 229570 Lot 38 of DP 29030 and DP 244156.
Origin
Allan Cunningham (13.07.1791 - 27.06.1839) was a famous early botanist and explorer. He was appointed as a collector of plants and arrived in Sydney in 1814. He rented a cottage in Parramatta and conducted botanical work there and in the Blue Mountains. In 1837 he became Colonial Botanist. (Australian Dictionary of Biography Vol 1)
