Yallakool Park (RESERVE), NSW Details
History
The area was commonly known as Yallakool Park. On 18 September 1995 Ocean Shores Tidy Town Committee put in a formal application to name the reserve.
Description
A reserve running from the corner of Yalla-Kool Drive and Warrambool Road to Rajah Road Ocean Shores. An area of approx 17 acres it occupies Lot 1148 of DP 243480. The land is densely timbered and very steep with naturally occurring springs through the centre.

`Clear water`. (Reed A W 1988 `Aboriginal Place Names`)
Origin
New South Wales Aboriginal. The reserve adjoins Yalla-Kool Drive.
