Firth Green (RESERVE), NSW Details
History
The reserve was vacant land which was created by road closure. In the 1920s it was used for grazing cattle and children played cricket and other games on the land. At that time it was known as The Green.
Description
A reserve located on the corner of Wellington and Euroka streets at Ingleburn. It also has a frontage on Cumberland Road.
Origin
In 1910 Dyson (04.10.1869 - 1940) and Flora Louise (12.06.1886) Firth moved to Euroka Street Ingleburn. They were very involved in community affairs including the Boy Scoutslocal sporting clubs the RSL Club the brass band the Historical Society and the church horticultural society.
