log the console log output to a div

I do a lot of console logging so i thought it would be nice to be able to see this on my test pages.

Apparently you can grab this quite easily with the following code.

I had to modify this a bit with document ready, but it does update as you log things to console, so quite handy.

Here is an example logging a new message from the console, and it mirroring it to the consolelog div.

HTML

<h3>Console Log in Browser</h3>
<div id="consolelog"></div>

Scripts

<script src="https://cdnjs.cloudflare.com/ajax/libs/jquery/3.6.0/jquery.min.js" referrerpolicy="no-referrer"></script>

Javascript

$(document).ready(function(){
if (typeof console  != "undefined")
    if (typeof console.log != 'undefined')
        console.olog = console.log;
    else
        console.olog = function() {};

console.log = function(message) {
    console.olog(message);
    $('#consolelog').append('<p>' + message + '</p>');
};
console.error = console.debug = console.info =  console.log
console.log("Test Console Message");
});

Random CSS Property

symbols()

The symbols() CSS function lets you define counter styles inline, directly as the value of a property such as list-style. Unlike @counter-style, symbols() is anonymous (i.e., it can only be used once). Although less powerful, it is shorter and easier to write than @counter-style.
