I was having a bit of a cache issue with a external css file, so i thought i might fix this by appending a random query string to the file name. This should force the browser to recheck the file each load time rather than caching it as it will think its a new file name.
Note: This one is not solved yet, got distracted... ;)

/* you could append a new date string to json */ var random_string = (new Date).toJSON(); console.log(random_string); /* you could then md5 that if you want something more cryptic */ /* var random_string_2 = crypto.createHash('md5').update((new Date).toJSON()); console.log(random_string_2); */ /* actually that one does not work, (not sure what the crypto js library is... )*/
