This reserve has been identified by NPWS as having important natural heritage values which need to be conserved and protected.
Description
A reserve located approximately 5 km East Southeast of Cooma fronting the Monaro Highway being portions 311 312 PT315 PT316 and 317 of the Parish of Cooma (DP 750535).
Meaning
Kuma is from the local aboriginal word for the area now known as Cooma. (Heinecke A of National Parks and Wildlife Service)
