History

The lookout was opened in October 1934 by Eric Spooner Minister for Local Government. Shown on Robinsons Blue Mountains Tourist Guide and Street Directory of 1937 as `Tallawalla Lookout`.

Description

A lookout situated 1.9 km S by E of Katoomba Post Office and 0.4 km NE of Echo Point. It is just south of Millamurra Lookout. (On the second edition of the 1:25000 topographical map these two lookouts were incorrectly shown with Millamurra Lookout being the most southerly).

Meaning
