A town in the city of Blue Mountains on the Blue Mountains Range about 11 km WNW of Emu Plains.

Origin

Governor Macquarie gave this town its name in 1815. He wrote that he stopped at a pretty wooded plain near a spring. (Discover Australia 1990).
