History
The earliest visitors to the lakes or lagoon may have been Aborigines of the Gundungurra tribe whose territory included the drainage system of the Burragorang Valley. (NPWS Draft Plan of Management in GNB873).
Description
A National Park about 627 hectares situated about 90 km SW of Sydney W of the Hume Highway 3 km S of Thirlmere. The Park is a small sample of rugged sandstone country and its dominating feature is a deeply entrenched valley meander containing a small system of lakes or lagoons perched above local erosion levels.
