South Solitary Lighthouse (TRIG. STATION), NSW Details
History
The lighthouse became operational on 5.3.1880. Used an oil burning light initially. Replaced by a battery powered automatic light in 1975 when the lighthouse was de-manned.
Description
A Trig. Station located on the top of the lighthouse dome situated at the southern end of South Solitary Island about 18 km NE of Coffs Harbour. TS5336
