Mogila Creek (ANABRANCH), NSW Details
Description
An anabranch about 48 km long. It rises at Ballandool River 8 km W by N of Hebel (in QLD) and flows generally WSW into Birrie River about 6 km N of Goodooga.
Origin
The land on the point was owned by Joseph Marshall who in 1865 obtained sugar cane from Mr Scott of Brisbane Water and planted one acre of it at Sugar Bay.
