A plaque commemorating Mr WatsonO contributions to the community was unveiled during Orange Blossom Festival week on 19 September 1970.
Description
A reserve in the suburb of North Rocks situated on the corner of North Rocks and Loyalty roads. It occupies DP 14353.
Origin
William P Watson was involved with the North Rocks Progress Association for approximately 40 years. He was also a member of North Rocks Tennis Club for 17 years. He purchased a local bus company in 1928 and sold it in 1963 having driven since 1926. He was especially well known for delivering mothers & children home in inclement weather
