Description
A large mass of sandstone conglomerate situated on the east side of the Coolah to Mudgee Road about 6 km south of Coolah and 5 km north of Girragulang Railway Station.
Origin
* Located within Gotta Run taken up by Nelson Simmons Lawson in 1840. * Known as Gotta Rock or The Rock for the past 140 years. * Was described by Government Geologist Samuel Stutchbury in his diary of 27/11/1852. (In his diary he recorded that these were isolated masses of sandstone conglomerate occupying about one acre of land
