History
Name was suggested by Yvonne Bromley (nee Borland).
Description
A reserve located off Chilvers Place Griffith. It is shown on DP 704382.
Origin
Alexander Leckie (1856 - 1947) and his family were early pioneers in the Griffith area. The Borlands who helped establish the fruit industry were also early pioneers. Some of the Leckie family married into Borland family - thus Borland Leekie. The park is located near near one of the original farms. (Griffith and District Pioneers)
