Description
A non-perennial watercourse approx. 1.6 km long rising approx. 4 km SSE of Awaba TS and flowing generally SE then E into Eraring Bay in the suburb of Buttaba.
Origin
Named after Hawkins Sawmill which was located on the corner of Ilford Avenue and Lisburn Street Arcadia Vale. The sawmill supplied most of the building materials for housing in the local area. (Source: Lake Macquarie Council)
