Origin

The name originated through the shape of the bay with the large section representing the hen and the smaller surrounding bays the chicken Maritime Services BoardPort of Sydney Vo19 No3 Sept 1965. & RAHS Journal Vo. 31 Pt 5 Vol 4 P 365.
