Origin
Named after Neville Baker (dob 5.11.32 - dod 2.12.07) who lobbied to preserve several large Eucalyptus trees for future generations at the time of the planning for the Northern Distributor Road. Mr Bakers efforts has resulted in the creation of a public reserve with visual appeal character and value. Source: Orange City Council.
