Meaning
Aboriginal for crossing place.
Origin
Mary Reiby applied for the BURRIER land grant in 1828 and it was approved ten years later. The property passed to her Grandson James Thomson in 1846. (500 Names and Places of Shoalhaven Shoalhaven Tourist Board).
