A watercourse about 70 km long. It starts about 2 km NNW of Green Hill and flows generally NW then W by N into Macquarie River.
Meaning
Probably derived from the Kamilaroi or Wiradjuri terms choorun or yooran the meaning of which is unknown. (Appleton; 1992).
