Part of the Alder property on Lalor Road was acquired by Blacktown Council for Reserve 703.
Description
A reserve about .62 ha comprising Lot 39 DP 815114 and Lot 3 DP788998. The reserve is situated in Lalor Road Quakers Hill.
Origin
Named after the late George Alder who settled in Quakers Hill in 1931. He was a pioneer of the poultry industry having the only hatchery in Blacktown area. He was an active member of the Blacktown Bowling Club the Quakers Hill Public School P & C the Hill Public Hall Committee and the Progress Association.
