A suburb about 4km S of Mosman and about 1km E of the suburb Elizabeth Bay. Boundaries shown on map marked GNB3720/C and GNB3720

Origin

Was named by Major General Ralph Darling during his governorship which lasted from 1825 to 1831. He called it Mrs Darling Point to honour his wife but the Mrs has since been lost. (Australian Place Names Kennedy 1992).
