Shearers Hut Creek (CREEK), NSW Details
Description
A partly perennial stream rising about 5 km S by E of Pickerings Peak. It flows generally SE for about 6 km into Bombala River at Bibbenluke.
Origin
Until the Depression in the 1930s there were shearers huts on the western side of the Monaro Highway where it crosses the creek. These were dismantled by the property owner to stop people camping in them.
