History
Name proposed to avoid confusion as The Pinnacles are a formation entirely separate. Known by National Parks staff and visitors by this name for more than 20 years.`Quoraburagun Pinnacles` was not assigned.
Description
A rocky point dividing Quondolo Beach and The Pinnacles Beach within Ben Boyd National Park. It is 4.5 km S by W of Haycock Point and 4.5 km SE of Peach Tree Point.
Origin
Believed to be Aboriginal. Name `Quora-bur-a-gun` appears next to this feature on 1929 map of the County of Auckland. (NP&WS facsimile dated 16 December 1996)
