A locality about 7 km S of Black Head and about 10 km SE by S of Mount Victoria.
Origin
In 1869 a meeting was arranged at Cape Howe by Robert Lewis John Ellery Victoriaan Government Astronomer William Turton Victorian Geodetic Surveyor and Phillip Francis Adams NSW Surveyor-General to mark the end of the border survey. The point was called Conference to mark the occasion.
