A locality about 9.5 km SSE of Kyogle and W of Back Creek.
Origin
Named after William Thomas Missingham (1868-1933) who represented the Lismore electorate as a Member of the NSW Legislative Assembly and was on three occasions (1909-10 1912 and 1917-22) President of Terania Shire. (Rich.Twd.Reg.Lib. & Rich.R.Hist.Soc.1983).
