A reserve approx 3 hectares in area at the northern end of Woods Street in the suburb of North Epping.

Named after Ronald James Payne (dob 12.2.1922 dod 31.8.2005) who was a driving force and supporter of active recreation throughout the community particularly during his period as a Councillor on Hornsby Shire Council between 1968 and 1991.
