Description
A reserve approx. 10 hectares in area comprising a consolidation of parcels of land bounded by Wattle Tree Road Third Avenue (unformed) North Road (unformed) Fern Hill Road (unformed) and 5 parcels between the eastern side of Fern Hill Road and North Road in the suburb of Katoomba.
Origin
Named after Michael William Eades (dob 8.11.1954 - dod 26.05.2002) who lived near the reserve. He was the first environmental scientist employed in 1991 by the Blue Mountains City Council. He worked to ensure that natural areas were better protected for future generations and this reserve was set aside through processes he initiated.
