Description
A locality between Terrey Hills and Ingleside. This area transferred from Warringah LGA on 24 April 1992.
Origin
Said to be either named after an old horse named Dick which kept tumbling or after a bullock named Dick which went over the side of the hill. Another theory is that it is named after the son of Oliver Cromwell-Richard who was known both as Indolent Dick and Tumbledown Dick.
