Description
A lookout situated at the end of a bushfire trail overlooking Kangaroo Valley. The lookout is an elevated rock platform in Crown Reserve 206 (Blue Gum Reserve). Access to the lookout is only via the trail through Yarrawa State Forest
Origin
To commemorate the late Les Lambert OAM a Group Captain with the Rural Fire Service in Wingecarribee Shire and a prominent member of the Wingecarribee community. Responsible for putting in a fire trail when involved in fighting a fire in the area which opened up access to the lookout previously accessible by a 1km bush walk.
