History
Named by Surveyor General John Joseph William Oxley on the 18 August 1817 during his first expedition to the interior.
Description
A narrow winding valley of Curra Creek about 6 km long and situated about 5 km south west of Wellington.It is formed as Curra Creek passes in a north easterly direction between the northern extremity of the Catombal Range and the southern ridges of Mount Wellesley and Mount Duke.
