Bull Gully (CREEK), NSW Details
History
This name was provided by Amos Douglass (1896-1998) who stated that the name was used by the early pioneers when he was a younster. (Keith Paull letter 24 September 1997)
Description
A creek which rises in Part of Por 82 close to the western side of Bloodtree Road and 4.2 km NE of the junction of Wisemans Ferry and Waratah roads. It is 5.0 km in length and flows in a generally NW direction into Warre Warren Creek.
Origin
The origin of this name is not known. It was brought up when names were being considered for features in the Mangrove Mountain Bicentennial Naming Project.
