Description
A watercourse about 26 km long. It rises about 2 km SE by E of Black Mountain and flows generally S by E into Commissioners Waters.
Origin
This watercourse was named after Tilbuster Station which was the original run taken up on the Northern side of Armidale in 1835 by William Dumaresq. William Dumaresq married Fanny McLeay a daughter of Alexander McLeay and it is understood that the name Tilbuster came from the McLeays property in Kent England. The name Ponds for this
