A locality about 1 km NE of Carlon Gap and about 3 km W of Shawneen Flat.

Origin

After Francis Barrallier (1773-1853) engineer and explorer. In 1802 he was ordered by Governor King to find passage across the mountains beyond the Nepean. (Place Names of NSW Reed 1969).
