History
Noted in 1837 by Surveyor Thomas Florance as BHURRIL. Mr and Mrs Phillip Butson and family established the first camping ground in the district on their farm there in 1920.

Situated on the southern part of the eastern bank of Burrill Lake about 3km SW of Ulladulla.
