Tia River (RIVER), NSW Details
Description
A perennial stream rising on the eastern slopes of the Great Dividing Range about 12 miles south west of Tia. It flows generally north east for about 23 miles into the Apsley River about 11 miles north east of Tia.
Origin
John Oxley Surveyor-General in NSW originally named this river Crokers River in honour of the First Secretary of the Admiralty. (Atchison 1976).
