History
Name was suggested by George Ross whose wife is the grand-daughter of the Jackas.
Description
A reserve located off Robrick Close Griffith. It is shown on DP 851401.
Origin
Leonard Millet Jacka (1864 - 30.11.1929) and Annie Louise Jacka (1866 - 17.05.1953) were early settlers in Griffith. Leonard was a saddler and the family ran a boarding house so they were well known in the community. Their son Herbert started the first garage and some of the sporting organisations.
