Council at its meeting on 26 October 1995 resolved to give this name to the reserve.
Description
A reserve in East Ballina which adjoins Pandanus Place Tea Tree Place Fig Tree Place Osprey Place Kingfisher Place Kurrajong Court and Chickiba Drive. It occupies Lot 137 of DP 771338 and Lot 174 of DP 785246. (spelt Mackinnon)
Origin
Eliza Mackinnon was the daughter of John Sharpe Snr a prominent Ballina businessman. She married Ewen Mackinnon another successful businessman and mayor of Ballina from 1907 - 1910.
