Description
A Reserve comprising of Lot 132 DP 243393 Lot 5 DP 241069 Lot 93 DP 28593 Lot 52 DP 261260 and Pt Lot 138 DP 262655 bounded by Kirkdale Drive Elton Close and Princetown Ave Adamstown Heights and having Styx Creek flowing through the area. Created by residual spoil fill from mining operations.
Origin
The landform gully has been known as `Raspberry Gully` since approx 1876 when the South Waratah Colliery was established at the head of the gully. The name originated due to the large amount of raspberry bushes in the gully.
