Description
A peak situated on the Liverpool Range about 1 km NE of Murrurundi Trig. Station and approx. 3 km SE of Mount Gregson.
Origin
The Southern face of The Rampart falls away steeply. When viewed from the Upper Hunter Valley it resembles a fort rampart.
