A watercourse about 20 km long. It rises about 2.5 km S of Black Mares Flat and flows generally NNW into Abercrombie River.
Origin
Blackmans Creek was named after James Mervyn Blackman one of the founders of the district an explorer who went down the Lachlan River with Oxley. Blackmans Creek is sometimes known locally as JMB Creek being the initials of James Mervyn Blackman.
