A reserve on the Clarence River about 9 km NE by E of Grafton Railway Station and about 3.5 km NE by N of Swan Creek (village).
Origin
Originally an old homestead name here. Strontian is a village in Argyllshire Scotland and the name is derived from the gaelic Stron an t-Sithein meaning Point of little hill.
