Titania Park (RESERVE), NSW Details
Description
A reserve approx. 7.6 ha in area comprising Lot 7002 DP 1075730 and part Lot 48 DP 24007 situated on the foreshore of the Crookhaven River off Adelaide Street in the suburb of Greenwell Point.
Origin
The Titania was a sailing ketch built on the banks of the Crookhaven River in 1855. During the period from 1856 it was used to transport cargo from local farms to the Sydney markets. Titania was wrecked at Brunswick River entrance in 1879. (Source: Lake Macquarie Council)
