Situated on a non perennial stream which is a tributary of the Clyde River and about 800m generally north of Donjon Tops it is about 50m high.
Origin
Name describes the crooked course as it flows over the escarpment. Local name in use c 1930. Named by Jim Sturgiss. Recommended by Names Review Committee 1966.
