A town on Princes Highway about 19 km W of Bermagui about 7 km east north east of Caroon. Boundaries within Bega Valley Council area shown on map GNB 3735.

Meaning

Said to be an Aboriginal term for grandfather but there is no lin- guistic evidence for this. (Appleton; 1992).
